Wren kitchen fitter in Hertfordshire

Wren design your kitchen in 3D and deliver it to your door. If you'd rather have a local fitter you've met and can ring than a fitting quote from a national chain, send me the Wren plan and I'll give you a fixed price for the fit.

How it works

Three steps, one person

  1. Send me the Wren plan

WhatsApp or email the 3D plan and the order list, plus a few photos of the room. I'll tell you the same working day whether it's a good fit and when I can start.

  2. I measure and quote

I come and measure, check the plan against the walls, floor and services, and give you a fixed written price. If something on the plan won't work in the room, you'll hear it from me before the kitchen is delivered, not after.

  3. Delivery, then the fit

Wren deliver the units built. I take the old kitchen out, fit the new one to the plan, cut and joint the worktops and connect the sink, tap and appliances, with gas and electrics done by the Gas Safe registered and qualified trades I manage.

What to know about fitting a Wren kitchen

  • Three of the kitchens on this site are Wren: the Letchworth kitchen below, a cream gloss L-shape in Welwyn Garden City and a white shaker in Stevenage.
  • Wren units arrive rigid with the doors on, and the 3D plan shows exactly where everything goes. My job is to make the room match the plan: walls that aren't square, floors that aren't level, and pipes where the plan assumes there's nothing.
  • Wren will quote to fit the kitchen themselves. It's worth comparing that quote with a local fitter's. With me, the person who measures the room is the person who fits it, and you have one number for everything.
  • Worktops: Wren laminate is cut and jointed on site; quartz and solid surfaces are templated once the units are in.
  • If you have your own plumber and electrician, ask for a dry fit and they can make the connections.

From design to build

Built to the Wren design, exactly, in Letchworth

The customer had a 3D design from Wren: a white handleless kitchen with a dark island and banquette seating against an exposed brick wall. I fitted it as drawn, as part of a wider refurbishment of the same house that included a sunken lounge with a wood burner.

In their words

What customers say

★★★★★

My wife and I were looking for a skilled trades person to help us with our kitchen redesign and subsequent fitting of new worktops, sink and units including new hob and fitted ovens. After being let down by other so called trades persons in the past we were delighted when we met Jeremy.

He was very friendly and what we would call a professional in his area of expertise. He guided us along the process of designing our kitchen and saw things we would never have anticipated. He was also flexible as we had to wait for some extra side panels to arrive after a delivery went wrong, and he also sourced us professionals to fit our gas appliances.

We are so glad we found Jeremy and we were delighted with the work he did for us, and would easily recommend Jeremy to family and friends without hesitation.

Questions people ask about Wren kitchens

Wren have offered to fit it. Why use you instead?

Compare the two quotes. Mine is a fixed written price from the person who will do the work, and you deal with me from the first measure to the snag visit. Snags are fixed free for six months, and I'm a few miles away rather than a call centre.

Will you check the Wren plan before I order?

Yes, and I'd recommend it. I measure the room and check the plan against it. It's far cheaper to change a unit on the plan than to change it after delivery.

Do you fit Wren worktops and appliances?

Yes. Laminate worktops are cut and jointed on site, quartz is templated once the units are in, and integrated appliances, sink and tap are fitted and connected as part of the job.

How long does a Wren kitchen take to fit?

Most small to medium kitchens take 5–7 working days on site. I'll tell you which days you'll be without a sink and a cooker.

Which areas do you cover?

From Letchworth and Hitchin across to Harpenden and St Albans, and down to Hertford and Ware. If you're just outside, ask anyway.
